What does "MAXIMUM PROFIT" mean?Maximum Profit means that the "optimization model" will not just deliver a minimum-cost diet, but rather a diet of maximum efficiency, i.e., ideal weight gain at the lowest cost. Technically, the software uses a "non-linear optimization model," which finds the GLOBAL optimal solution and not just a LOCAL optimum. The model generates multiple possible minimum-cost diets for each level of weight gain and selects the minimum-cost diet where the FINANCIAL gain is the highest.
